So if you haven’t heard of LulaRoe you must be living under a rock. 

If you haven’t bought LulaRoe you must be a skeptic like myself.

I have been invited to countless LulaRoe Facebook parties but I’ve never really participated in one. During the first online party I was invited to, I briefly looked into it and saw that I had to look at pictures and comment ‘sold’ on an item that I wanted. That seemed very odd to me. How can I possibly know if I really want something I’ve never seen or tried on?

It’s rare that I purchase items online because I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning items that don’t fit. My size varies so much depending on the style and the brand that I’m not positive on my size. Which is definitely frustrating at times. I wish women had standard clothing sizes like men do!

So one of my best friends jumped on the Lula wagon and quickly became obsessed with it and decided to have an online party. In order to support my friend and help her get some free clothes I decided to actually take a look and see what the big deal was with this latest craze.

There was so much to look through! And the sizes are completely different than typical clothes so I was super unsure about how things would fit. But the consultant posted a lot of helpful info to make me feel a little more at ease about the sizing and fit of the different styles.

I knew LulaRoe was all about the leggings and the funky patterns. I wasn’t sure how much I really loved any of the options because I couldn’t see myself wearing them because it was so out of my comfort zone. But when I discovered that the leggings were super soft, I really wanted a pair!

I also learned that they are more than leggings and have super cute dresses and skirts. I love dresses and skirts so I was intrigued. Especially when I found out about the pencil skirts from my Lula junkie friend who told me that she loves her skirt. I’ve always wanted to wear a pencil skirt but I’ve never found one that was super flattering or comfortable to wear.

After lots of debating and scrolling through the photo albums of clothes, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a pair of leggings and a skirt, or the ‘Cassie’ as they like to call it. I was so eager to see my new purchases, I was happy that I could go pick them up the next day. I tried them on immediately and loved them. The leggings are super soft and comfortable and I think they are flattering. I actually feel very confident wearing them so I don’t really care what other people may think about them. And I was so happy with the skirt. I love that it’s stretchy and I feel like it actually looks good on me and is comfortable to move around in.

Although I still don’t completely understand the full obsession of LulaRoe, I do see it’s appeal. They have a wide variety of unique designs so that you can express yourself with a look that’s really all your own. I absolutely love the leggings and think they are worth the price. I don’t usually spend a lot of money on clothes unless the price is really worth it, but most of the time I prefer things that are on stylish and on sale. While the dresses and T-shirts are cute and look comfortable, they are more than I want to spend and I honestly don’t see the quality as being anything special.

With all of that being said, I’m happy with my purchases and I’m glad I finally gave it a shot. I definitely see some more leggings and skirts in my future.
